In this webpage we have used the common spelling 'karma sutra'. Alternative spellings include 'karmasutra, kama sutra, kamasutra and kama shastra'.
History
of Karma SutraAncient Indian sages composed the Karma Sutra on the basis of the Vedas. The first formulation of the Kama Shastra (original name), or the rules of love, is attributed to Nandi, Shiva's companion. It is preserved today in the form of the 'Karma Sutra' written down by the sage Vatsyayana sometime between the first and sixth century A.D. The Karma Sutra is recognised as the true surviving text of the original Kama Shastra. Vatsyayana states that he only quotes and condenses the previous work and refers to himself in third person (Vatsyayana thinks ..) when expressing his opinion.
The Karma Sutra was one of three ancient Indian texts concerning the aims of
life. It should be understood within the context of the Artha Shastra and the
Dharma Shastra (which were written in Sanskrit, seventh century B.C.). As Alain
Danielou confirms;
Life necessitates three kinds of activity: to assure its
survival, its means of existence, and its nourishment; to realise its
reproduction according to forms of activity generally connected with sexuality;
and, lastly, to establish rules of behaviour that allow different individuals to
perform their roles within the framework of the species. In human society, this
is represented as three necessities, three aims of life: material goods
(artha) assure survival; erotic practice
(kama) assures the transmission of life; and rules of
behaviour, a moral nature (dharma), assure the cohesion and
duration of the species. (The Complete Karma Sutra, translated
by Alain Danielou, Parker Street Press 1994)
So the Karma Sutra is the study of kama (erotic practice) and its cultivation in both man and woman. The Karma Sutra promotes intimacy between partners, attention to mood, atmosphere and the senses. It is not just an erotic work of sexual positions, as Alain Danielou confirms; The Karma Sutra is not a pornographic work. First and foremost, it is a picture of the art of living for the civilised and refined citizen, completing in the sphere of love, eroticism and the pleasures of life. (The Complete Karma Sutra, 1994)
Sixty
Four Arts of Karma SutraThere are Sixty Four Arts of Karma Sutra. Learning the art of Karma Sutra is
traditionally understood as a woman learning to be a good wife (although the
Karma Sutra also offers cultivation of the male to be skillful partner). Some of
general arts include; singing, dancing, playing instruments, knowledge of
foreign languages, speaking generously and beautifully, painting, calligraphy,
making garlands, cooking delicious foods, making floral bouquets, ability to
distinguish between true and false gems, sewing, colour-making and dying,
treating birds and animals, keeping the body neat and clean, braiding of hair
and dying them with henna.
More intimate arts (to prepare the woman for
physical contact) are reading others thoughts, expressing love of others,
showing acceptance through bodily postures, allowing slow touching of her parts,
scratching lovingly with nails and biting, undoing the fastener of the lower
clothes, straightening and exposing the private parts, artful participation in
the intercourse, pleasing the partner, feeling full satisfaction and making the
partner to have similar feeling, encouraging the partner for intercourse, posing
as if angry, removal of anger in a playful way, pleasing the angry partner,
leaving the sleeping partner, going to sleep after the coition and concealing
the private parts.
A man skilled in the sixty-four arts is looked upon with love by his own wife, by the wives of others, and by courtesans. (Karma Sutra)
'.. those things which increase passion should be done first, and those which are only for amusement or variety should be done afterwards'. (Karma Sutra)
'An ingenious person should multiply the kinds of congress after the fashion of the different kinds of beasts and of birds. For these different kinds of congress, performed according to the usage of each country, and the liking of each individual, generate love, friendship, and respect in the hearts of women.' (Karma Sutra, 1883)
And now for the love postures with which sculptors adorn our
temple walls.
When a couple make love standing, or leaning against a wall or
a pillar,
it is called the position of Sthita
(Steadied)
When the woman sits in her lover's cradled hands, her arms around his neck,
thighs gripping his waist, her feet pushing back and forth against a
wall,
it is Avalambitaka (Suspended)
She draws her limbs together, clasping her knees tightly to her
breasts,
her yoni, like an opening bud, offered up for pleasure:
this is
known as Mukula (the Bud)
Seated, the lady raises one foot to point vertically over her head
and
steadies it with her hands, offering up her yoni for lovemaking:
this is
Mayura (the Peacock)

Currently Physics (and thus all human knowledge) is founded on the concepts
of particles and forces in
Space and Time, which assumes the existence of
four separate things. This causes many problems for Humanity because the
necessary connection between these things is unknown. The Metaphysics of Space
and Motion and the Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) solves these problems by
describing Reality in terms of One thing, Space, existing with the Properties of
a Wave Medium. Matter is formed from Spherical Standing Waves in Space which
cause the 'particle' effect at their Wave
Center. Time is due to the Wave
Motion (activity) of Space. Forces are caused by the
interaction of the Spherical In and Out Waves with other matter in Space which
changes the location of the Wave-Center (and which we 'see' as a 'force
accelerating a particle').
This rather abrupt summary is explained in detail
in the sections which follow (use Anchor Links or scroll to headings below).

rough diagram shows how the In-Waves and Out-Waves form a Standing Wave around
the Wave-Center 'particle'.
i) To allow people to understand what Reality is, thus to have an absolute
foundation for working out the Truth. This allows us to solve many of the
problems of Physics, Philosophy, Metaphysics and Theology (and there are many
problems caused by the current particle conception of matter, as modern academia
well realises).
ii) To realise that the world we experience (our senses,
which are a representation of the mind) are incomplete and deceptive. That when
we see things as being separate and discrete (like the human body), this is an
illusion (naive real). In Reality matter (and thus humans) are structures of the
universe, thus we are all subtly interconnected not only to the world around us,
but to all other matter in the universe. This explains the foundations of the
ecology of life on Earth, and why the preservation of Nature is critical for our
future survival.
iii) To share this knowledge with others such that many
people can work together to correct past errors both in human knowledge, and in
human society, and thus contribute to a better future for Humanity.

(George
Berkeley, 1710) Nothing seems of more importance, towards erecting a
firm system of sound and real knowledge, which may be proof against the assaults
of scepticism, than to lay the beginning in a distinct explication of what is
meant by thing, reality, existence: for in vain shall we dispute concerning the
real existence of things, or pretend to any knowledge thereof, so long as we
have not fixed the meaning of those words.

And those whose hearts are fixed on Reality itself deserve the title of Philosophers. (Plato, Republic, 380BC )
Metaphysics is universal and is exclusively
concerned with primary substance. And here we will have the science to study
that which is, both in its essence and in the properties which, just as a thing
that is, it has. ... That among entities there must be some cause which moves
and combines things. ... There must then be a principle of such a kind that its
substance is activity.
(Aristotle, 340BC)
Reality cannot be found except in One single source, because of the interconnection of all things with one another. ... It is a good thing to proceed in order and to establish propositions (principles). This is the way to gain ground and to progress with certainty. ... I hold that the mark of a genuine idea is that its possibility can be proved, either a priori by conceiving its cause or reason, or a posteriori when experience teaches us that it is a fact in nature. (Gottfried Leibniz, 1670)
I must admit that I have spent considerable time thinking about writing an
introduction to this website on Truth and Reality.
The problem is perplexing,
yet simple. I am a philosopher / metaphysicist, and these subjects (along with
all human knowledge) are founded on Reality, this being the source of all Truth
and Wisdom. And having now studied these subjects of Philosophy, Physics and
Metaphysics for the past ten years, I am quite convinced that Reality has been
discovered and that this is (obviously) very important to
humanity.
Ironically, due to the current complexity / diversity of knowledge,
and the past failures to correctly describe Reality, few people will believe
this, or make any effort to understand it to determine its truth. (And I accept
there are many valid reasons for this apparent apathy and cynicism.)
I
believe though, that the best I can do as a philosopher is to write the truth as
clearly, concisely, simply and sensibly as I am able, and then it is up to you
to make up your own mind as to its truth and importance.
So let's start by very briefly summarising the main idea.
Currently we
represent Matter as 'particles' generating 'forces' that act on other particles
in space and time. This discrete particle conception of matter is incomplete
(how do discrete and separate particles act-at-a-distance on other particles
across the universe). Einstein understood this problem of the particle
conception of matter, but his error was to try and describe reality as a pure
field theory (he failed). Instead, we must combine the waves discovered by
Schrodinger and de Broglie (foundations of Quantum Theory) with the Absolute
Space assumed by Newton, to describe matter as Spherical Standing Waves in
Space. Thus the Wave-Center of the Spherical Standing Wave causes the particle
effect of matter, the interaction of the spherical In and Out Waves cause the
'force fields' (see diagrams below).
Most significantly, we are describing
reality from One thing, Space, and its properties as a Wave Medium, rather than
from Many things, Matter, and their properties of generating Fields (that cause
the effect of Space, though how particles do this is never explained). This then
explains Hume's problem of Causation and Necessary Connection, as it is the One
thing Space, that connects the many things matter (as spherical waves in space).
Now I realise it is a little confusing to begin, but it is very simple once
known. (Please see below for further details.)
Most importantly, as our world
now faces many crises, it seems to me that this knowledge of Reality, if it is
true, is critical to humanity and our future survival.
Unfortunately, we now live in a post-modern culture that does not believe it
is possible to know Reality, and thus to have Absolute Truth. All knowledge is
relative to cultural constructions, which are ultimately merely ideas, not real
things existing in themselves (Kantian Idealism). I suspect it would be
'academic suicide' to even use these terms of Truth and Reality in a title as I
have done (though they accurately reflect the content). You are asking to be
branded a 'crackpot', either ignorant of our current 'enlightened post-modern'
knowledge, and thus deluded, or allowing ego and imagination to sway reason and
good sense.
In my defence, which is really a defence of Philosophy and
Science, I reply;
Over the past ten years I have taken the time to study the
great minds of human history (there are many beautiful and brilliant minds to
read). This becomes clear as you read this website, which is filled with
thousands of quotes from many great minds over thousands of years.
Now this
in no way means that what I write is true, my point is more that by presenting
the existing knowledge from the original source, explaining the problems and how
they can be solved, this then allows you to make up your own mind as to the
validity of the argument. (As I see philosophy and science, you can't tell
someone the truth, but you can show them how to work it out for
themselves.)
And based upon this knowledge of philosophy, physics and
metaphysics, it is now clear to me that the Metaphysics of Space and Motion and
the Wave Structure of Matter is a far better way to describe Reality than the
current paradigm of particles and forces in space and time.
Anyway, the purpose of this introduction is to encourage you to take the time
to browse the brief summaries of articles (sorted by subject) which follow this
introduction. If this knowledge of the Wave Structure of Matter is correct then
it is clearly very important to Humanity, and has the power to solve many of our
problems, both in the spheres of human knowledge, and how we are to live on
Earth (without destroying ourselves and the Nature which created us and upon
which we depend). As I see it, the world needs our help, and this help must be
founded on the Truth, not just our good intentions, if it is to actually work
and make things better.
In a busy world I urge people to take the time to
read and think about the Wave Structure of Matter. Truth and Reality are not
only fascinating subjects, they describe what we really are as Humans, how we
have evolved to exist as matter in this Space of the universe, and thus offer
great wisdom as to how we should live here on our fragile and most amazing
little planet, our dear Earth and its wonderful diversity of
life.

The Wave Structure of Matter Group has been online since the
beginning of 2004. It currently (July, 2004) has about 200 members and is now in
the top 40 Yahoo Physics Groups out of 1,000 (so it has been growing quite
quickly). While it largely focuses on the Physics of the Wave Structure of
Matter, it also discusses all aspects of human knowledge (as true knowledge of
reality must explain many things). The aim of the group is to better understand
the Truth about Reality (and thus ourselves) and to share this knowledge with
others.
As Hume, Gandhi and Marx wrote;
And though the philosopher may live remote from business, the genius of philosophy, if carefully cultivated by several, must gradually diffuse itself throughout the whole society, and bestow a similar correctness on every art and calling. (David Hume)
All our philosophy is dry as dust if it is not immediately translated into some act of living service. (Mohandas Gandhi)
The philosophers have merely interpreted the world in various ways; the point, however, is to change it. (Karl Marx)
The group is largely self moderated and in general you will find it well organised, interesting, polite and friendly (see WSM Group Guidelines for more details). We encourage people to join the group discussion, to ask questions, and see for themselves how the WSM explains and solves many problems of human knowledge very simply and sensibly.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Wave-Structure-Matter/
In September 2004 a Discussion Forum (which Ranks better in the Search Engines) and Wiki Website (where members can build a Wave Structure of Matter Website) will be added to the WSM Group. This should help in getting knowledge from our discussions onto the Internet such that others can more easily find and understand this relatively new (and very important!) knowledge of Truth and Reality.
I hope this helps.

Summary: On the Metaphysics of Space and Motion
and the Wave Structure of Matter (WSM).
By describing Reality from
One Thing (Space) existing with the Properties
of a Wave-Medium, we find that we can explain and solve many of
the fundamental problems of Metaphysics (and thus Philosophy, Physics and
Theology).
By realising that Matter is formed from
Spherical Standing Waves in Space (rather than discrete
particles & forces in Space-Time) we connect the many things (Matter, Time
and Forces), back to One thing, Space and it wave motions. It is this
wave motion of Space that causes matter's activity and the
phenomena of Time. This solves the fundamental Problem of the
One and the Many by moving from the Metaphysics of Space and Time (founded on
four separate things) to the Metaphysics of Space and Motion (founded on One
Thing, Space).
From this new metaphysical foundation and language for
describing Reality (which is in fact the most simple possible scientific theory
as it is founded on One Thing) we can then understand and explain the
foundations of Absolute Truth, i.e. Necessary Connection, Logic, Reason, and
Certainty, which then explain and solve many problems of Human Knowledge very
simply and sensibly (see articles below).

to be understood literally. All energy is the same as mechanical energy, whether
it exists in the form of motion or in that of

phenomena is mechanical energy.
(Albert
Einstein) Physics constitutes a logical system of thought which is in a
state of evolution, whose basis cannot be distilled, as it were, from experience
by an inductive method, but can only be arrived at by free invention. ... We
must always be ready to change these notions - that is to say, the axiomatic
basis of physics - in order to do justice to perceived facts in the most perfect
way logically. ... It is the grand object of all theory to make these
irreducible elements (principles) as simple and as few in number as possible,
without having to renounce the adequate representation of any empirical content
whatever. (Albert Einstein, 1954)
According to the
general theory of relativity space without ether is
unthinkable; for in such space there not only would be no propagation
of light, but also no possibility of existence for standards of space and time.
But this ether may not be thought of as endowed with the quality characteristic
of matter, as consisting of parts ('particles') which may be tracked through
time. (Albert Einstein, 1928, Leiden)

Summary: Currently physics is founded on four separate things, i.e. matter 'particles' which generate 'forces' that act on other particles in Space and Time. This causes many problems for Physics because we do not understand how these separate things are interconnected. The Spherical Standing Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) solves these problems by describing reality founded on One Thing / Substance (Space) and its Properties as a Wave-Medium for Spherical Standing Waves that form matter. Thus we can explain Matter, Time and Forces by connecting them back to One Thing, Space with the following reasoning;
Matter (Atom / Particle) - The Wave-Center of
the Spherical Standing Waves causes the discrete 'particle'
effect of Matter.
Time - The Spherical Standing Wave Motion of
Space causes matter's activity and the phenomena of
Time. This confirms Aristotle and
Spinoza's connection of Motion and Time, and most significantly
connects these two things back to one thing Space. Movement,
then, is also continuous in the way in which time is - indeed time is
either identical to movement or is some affection of it.
(Aristotle)
Forces (Light, Gravity) - Forces are caused
by a change in velocity of the spherical In-Waves (from one direction, as they
interact with other matter / waves) which causes a change in location of where
these spherical (ellipsoidal) In-Waves finally meet at their Wave-Center, and
which we 'see' as a 'force accelerating a particle'.
Thus we unite / connect
Matter, Time and Forces back
to One thing Space, existing as a Wave-Medium. From this
foundation (and unity) we can then unite (and explain and solve many of the
problems of) Einstein's Relativity, Quantum Theory and Cosmology.
Albert Einstein: Special & General Relativity - Briefly
summarised (please read the article, summaries do no justice to a complex
idea).
Einstein's Special Relativity (no acceleration) - If there is no
change in velocity of the In-Waves (velocity of light c) then there is no change
in the location of the Wave-Center and thus no 'acceleration of the
particle'.
Einstein's General Relativity (on Acceleration and Gravity) - Any
change in velocity of the spherical In-Waves (from one direction, as they flow
in through other matter) changes the future location of the Wave-Center (we
'see' as 'force accelerating a particle') and also changes the wavelength and
ellipsoidal shape of the waves. This change in velocity of 'spherical' In-Waves
and their wavelength / ellipsoidal shape (thus dimension) explains the Lorentz
Transformations (which are founded on the changing shape of a sphere /
ellipsoid).
This also explains why Einstein's General Relativity relates the
changing geometry of a sphere / ellipsoid to the 'acceleration of a particle',
and thus a Gravitational Field. Albert Einstein's spherical force field theory
of matter and the 'curvature' of the 'four dimensional spacetime continuum' can
now be understood as Spherical Standing Waves where the higher Wave Density of
Space near matter slows the Wave Velocity and causes the Ellipsoidal shape of
the In-Waves to change and the wavelength / dimension to contract. This can be
related to the changing location of the Wave-Centers (i.e. gravitational force
accelerating particle).
Quantum Theory / Mechanics - Historical Analysis and Solutions
to Problems of Quantum Theory (Quantum Mechanics). On Planck, Einstein,
Bohr, de Broglie, Schrodinger, Heisenberg, Born, Feynman, Wolff. 'Experiments on interference made with particle rays have given
brilliant proof that the wave character of the phenomena of motion
as assumed by Quantum Theory do, really, correspond to the facts.'
(Albert Einstein, 1940)
Quantum Theory: Particle Wave Duality - The particle-wave
duality of Matter is obviously explained by the WSM. Spherical Standing Waves
(Scalar Quantum Waves not Electromagnetic Vector Waves) cause the
Particle effect at their Wave-Center.
Quantum Theory: Light Quanta (Photons) - Likewise the
particle-wave duality of Light is also explained by the WSM. Light is a wave
phenomena, but Standing Wave Interactions (Resonant Coupling)
only occur at discrete frequencies which explains
Schrodinger's wave equations and the discrete
energy exchanges of Light Quanta (Photons).
Quantum Theory: Max Planck - Wave Structure of Matter explains
why Planck's Constant h
correctly relates Frequency, Energy and Mass E=hf=mc2. 'A new scientific truth does not triumph by
convincing its opponents and making them see
the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and
a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.' Quantum Theory Quotes: Max Planck
Quantum Theory: Albert Einstein - Albert Einstein
never understood the 'Photon' particle properties of Light Quanta.
'All these fifty years of conscious brooding have brought me
no nearer to the answer to the question, 'What are light
quanta?' Nowadays every Tom, Dick and Harry thinks he knows it, but he
is mistaken.' The Wave Structure of Matter explains the 'Photon' effect
of Light due to Resonant Coupling between Spherical Standing Waves. Light is a
wave phenomena, but Standing Wave Interactions (Resonant
Coupling) only occur at discrete frequencies which explains
Schrodinger's wave equations and the discrete
energy exchanges of Light Quanta ('Photon particles').
Quantum Theory Quotes: Albert Einstein
Quantum Theory: Niels Bohr - Wave Structure of Matter Solves
Bohr's Copenhagen Doctrine (that Particles and Waves both
Incomplete and Complement one another) and Explains Discrete Energy States of
Bohr's Atomic Orbits due to Discrete Frequencies of Standing Wave Interactions.

Quantum Theory: Louis de Broglie - Wolff's

Quantum Theory: Erwin Schrodinger -

Matter in Physical Space. 'The scientist only
imposes two things, namely truth and
sincerity, imposes them upon himself and upon other
scientists.'
Quantum Theory Quotes: Erwin Schrodinger
Quantum Theory: Paul Dirac - Quantum Theory Quotes: Paul Dirac
Quantum Theory: Werner Heisenberg, Max Born - Wave Structure
of Matter (Real Waves) explains Heisenberg's Uncertainty
Principle and Born's Probability Wave Interpretation
of Quantum Physics. Heisenberg's error was to assume 'Light and matter are both
single entities, and the apparent duality
arises in the limitations of our
language.' when in fact the duality is caused by the
Spherical Standing Wave Structure of Matter. Quantum Theory Quotes: Werner Heisenberg - Quantum Theory Quotes: Max Born
Quantum Theory: Richard Feynman - Feynman's
QED assumes Spherical Electromagnetic Vector Waves
(Mathematical Waves of Force) rather than Real Spherical Scalar
Waves in Space (which continues to cause Modern Physics many
Problems).
Quantum Theory Quotes: Richard Feynman
Quantum Theory: Milo Wolff - A Concise Summary of the Logic
and Mathematics of the Wave Structure of Matter. From
Feynman's Spherical Vector Electromagnetic Waves (Mathematical)
to Spherical Scalar Quantum Waves (Real Waves).
Cosmology -The supreme task of the physicist is to arrive at those universal elementary laws from which the cosmos can be built by pure deduction (Albert Einstein, 1954). The Wolff-Haselhurst Cosmology explains a Perpetual Finite Spherical Universe within an Infinite Eternal Space. The Spherical Standing waves determines the size of our finite spherical universe within an infinite Space (Matter is large not small, we only 'see' the Wave-Center / 'particle' effect which has greatly confused physics). Huygens' Principle explains how other matter's out waves combine to form our matter's spherical In-Waves, which then deduces both Mach's Principle and the redshift with distance (without assuming Doppler effect due to an expanding universe / Big Bang). This also explains how matter interacts with all other matter in the universe (why we can see stars) as matter is the size of the universe, but we only 'see' the high wave amplitude wave-centers / 'particles'.
Physics and Metaphysics - The Metaphysics of Space and Motion Sensibly Unites Albert Einstein's Relativity, Quantum Theory, and Cosmology. This 40 page Treatise (written over five years) will be published in 'What is the Electron' (Apeiron, 2004).

Physics: Space Aether Ether - On Absolute
Space / Ether and its Properties as an Infinite Eternal Continuous
Wave Medium.
Physics: Speed of Light and Gravity - The
Speed of both Light and
Gravity are simply the speed of the Spherical In-Waves in Space
which is the Velocity of Light c. This varies with the Wave Amplitude and Wave
Density of Space (causing Charge and Mass) but the corresponding change in
wavelength (dimension of matter) causes the the velocity of light and gravity to
be observed as a constant.
Physics: String Theory / Waves - The Wave Structure of Matter
explains the partial Truth of String Theory. String Theory is a
mathematical theory founded on Waves and Resonance ('Strings' can only vibrate
at certain resonant frequencies which correspond to discrete energy states of
Matter). It becomes absurd (9 dimensions, 6 curled up!) when it assumes that
tiny 'strings' really exist (and demonstrates that Mathematical Physicists need
to also study Philosophy and Metaphysics).
Physics:
Vortex - The Wave Structure of Matter explains the partial Truth of the
Vortex Theory of Matter. They are correct that Space Exists,
and that Motion of Space causes both Matter and Time. Their Error is to assume
that Space is a 'Fluid' which forms Vortices that cause Matter. This 'Flowing'
of Space is 'Naive Real' and contrary to the Theories of Lorentz and Einstein
(which are founded on a 'Rigid' Space-Time Continuum), and does not explain how
Matter interacts with all other Matter in the Universe (i.e. Mach's
Principle).
(Lee
Smolin, 1997) A successful unification of quantum theory and relativity
would necessarily be a theory of the universe as a whole. It would tell us, as
Aristotle and Newton did before, what space and time are, what the cosmos is,
what things are made of, and what kind of laws those things obey. Such a theory
will bring about a radical shift - a revolution - in our understanding of what
nature is. It must also have wide repercussions, and will likely bring about, or
contribute to, a shift in our understanding of ourselves and our relationship to
the rest of the universe.
(Albert Einstein, 1954) The
development during the present century is characterized by two theoretical
systems essentially independent of each other: the theory of relativity and the
quantum theory. The two systems do not directly contradict each other; but they
seem little adapted to fusion into one unified theory. For the time being we
have to admit that we do not possess any general theoretical basis for physics
which can be regarded as its logical foundation.
If, then, it is true that
the axiomatic basis of theoretical physics cannot be extracted from experience
but must be freely invented, can we ever hope to find the right way? I answer
without hesitation that there is, in my opinion, a right way, and that we are
capable of finding it. I hold it true that pure thought can grasp reality, as
the ancients dreamed. (Albert Einstein, 1954)
Albert Einstein: Cosmology - Albert Einstein's General
Relativity laid the Foundations for Modern Cosmology - A Simple
Solution to a Complex Problem. 'A human being
is part of the whole called by us Universe.' (Albert
Einstein)
Albert Einstein: Quantum Theory - Albert Einstein
never understood the 'Photon' particle properties of Light Quanta.
Schrodinger's wave equations and the discrete
energy exchanges of Light Quanta ('Photon
particles').
Albert Einstein: Leiden Lecture - Very interesting lecture by
Einstein (1920) on 'Ether and Relativity'. 'Recapitulating, we
may say that according to the general theory of relativity space is
endowed with physical qualities; in this sense, therefore,
there exists an ether. According to the general theory of
relativity space without ether is unthinkable; for in such space there not only
would be no propagation of light, but also no possibility of existence for
standards of space and time.'
Bohr: Einstein - Bohr's Discussion with Albert
Einstein on the Epistemology of Physics with further comments from

Universe.
Copernicus, Nicolaus - Wave Structure of Matter Explains the
Orbit of the Earth about the Sun. Uniting Copernicus and
Ptolemy - all Matter is the Center of its own Finite Spherical
Universe within an Infinite Space.

Cramer correctly Interprets the Quantum Waves of Quantum Mechanics as
Real Wave Interactions to explain Einstein, Rosen, Podolsky (EPR)
Experiment.

de Broglie Wavelength as a Doppler Shift due
to Relative Motion of two Spherical Standing Waves.
Faraday, Michael - Faraday's Electric and magnetic
Force Fields are Continuous Approximations of many Discrete Quantum
Standing Wave Interactions. Faraday realised that Space must exist to cause
these 'Force Fields'. 'I cannot conceive curved lines of force
without the conditions of a physical existence in that intermediate
Space.'
Feynman, Richard - Feynman's QED assumes
Spherical Electromagnetic Vector Waves (Mathematical Waves of
Force) rather than Real Spherical Scalar Waves in Space (which
continues to cause Modern Physics many Problems).
Gabriel LaFreniere Wave Diagrams - Interesting discussion
between Geoff Haselhurst and Gabriel LaFreniere on their independent discovery
of the Wave Structure of Matter. Includes correspondence, discussion of
Gabriel's website and Flash Wave Diagrams.
Galilei, Galileo - Wave Structure of Matter Explains the
Gravitational Attraction of the Earth and Sun and their Interconnected
Orbital Motions.
Hawking, Stephen - Some Famous Quotes from Hawking's A
Brief History of Time are explained by the Wave Structure of Matter.
While there is a lot of nonsense about the 'Big Bang' he was at least correct in
writing 'But maybe that is our mistake: maybe there are no
particle positions and velocities, but only
waves.'
Heisenberg: Born - Wave Structure of Matter (Real Waves)
explains Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle and Born's
Probability Wave Interpretation of Quantum Physics. Heisenberg's error
was to assume 'Light and
matter are both single entities, and the
apparent duality arises in the limitations of
our language.' when in fact the duality is caused by the
Spherical Standing Wave Structure of Matter.
Huygens, Christiaan - Huygens' Principle
explains how other Matter's Out-Waves form our Matter's In-Waves and deduces
Hubble Redshift with distance. i.e. The Big Bang Theory is
Incorrect.
Kepler, Johannes - Wave Structure of Matter Explains
Elliptical Orbits of Planets about the Sun.
Lorentz, Hendrik - The Lorentz
Transformations are caused by a change in velocity and ellipsoidal
shape of the In-Waves which changes the location of the Wave-Center (and which
we 'see' as a 'Force Accelerating a Particle'). Lorentz correctly realised that
matter existed in an Absolute Space (Ether / Aether); 'I
cannot but regard the ether, which can be the seat of an
electromagnetic field with its energy and its vibrations, as
endowed with a certain degree of substantiality, however
different it may be from all ordinary matter.'
Mach,
Ernst - Wolff's Deduction of Mach's
Principle (Mass/Inertia is determined by all matter in the Universe)
from the Wave Structure of Matter. The Out-Waves of All the other Matter in the
Universe Combine (Huygens' principle) to Form our Spherical In-Waves.
Maxwell, James - Maxwell's Equations deduce
the Velocity of Light but are founded on Vector Electromagnetic Waves rather
than Scalar Quantum Waves.
Michelson / Morley - Wave Structure of Matter Explains the
Null Results of the Famous Michelson Morley Experiment and the
Motion of the Earth through an Absolute Space.
Newton, Isaac - Newton's Absolute Space is
correct. His error was to further assume the existence of Matter 'particles',
Time, and Forces, which are caused by the Spherical Wave Motions of Space.
Planck, Max - Wave Structure of Matter explains why
Planck's Constant h correctly
relates Frequency, Energy and Mass E=hf=mc2. 'A new
scientific truth does not triumph by
convincing its opponents and making them see
the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and
a new generation grows up that is familiar with
it.'
Schrodinger, Erwin - Schrodinger's Wave
Equations describe real Standing Waves of Matter in Physical Space. 'The scientist only imposes two things, namely
truth and sincerity, imposes them upon himself
and upon other scientists.'
Smolin, Lee - Some Quotes from Lee Smolin's Life of
the Cosmos are explained by the Wave Structure of Matter. 'A successful unification of quantum theory and
relativity would necessarily be a theory of the universe as a
whole.'
Tesla, Nikola - Tesla was influenced by Vedic Philosophy that
all is one and dynamic. The Wave Structure of Matter confirms Nikola
Tesla's Theories on Resonance and Transfer of Energy
by Waves in Space. 'One day man will connect his apparatus to
the very wheel work of the universe ... and the very forces that motivate the
planets in their orbits and cause them to rotate will rotate his own
machinery.'
Famous Scientists - Pictures and Quotations from Famous Scientists.
(Heraclitus, 500BC) All things come out of the
One and the One out of all things.
(Plato, Republic, 380BC )And those whose hearts are fixed on
Reality itself deserve the title of
Philosophers. ... When the mind's eye rests on objects
illuminated by truth and reality, it understands and
comprehends them, and functions intelligently; but when it turns to the twilight
world of change and decay, it can only form opinions, its vision is confused and
its beliefs shifting, and it seems to lack intelligence. ...
What is at issue is the conversion of the mind from the twilight of
error to the truth, that climb up into the real world
which we shall call true philosophy.
(Kant, 1781) Natural science
(physics) contains in itself synthetical judgments a
priori, as principles. … Space then is a necessary
representation a priori, which serves for the foundation of all
external intuitions.

(George
Berkeley, 1710) Nothing seems of more importance, towards erecting a
firm system of sound and real knowledge, which may be proof against the assaults

real existence of things, or pretend to any knowledge thereof, so long as we
have not fixed the meaning of those words.

(Lama
Govinda, 1969) According to ancient Indian tradition the Universe
reveals itself in two fundamental properties: as Motion and as
that in which motion takes place, namely Space. This Space is
called akasa and is that through which things step into visible
appearance, i.e., through which they possess extension or corporeality. Akasa is
derived from the root kas, 'to radiate, to shine', and has therefore the meaning
of 'ether' which is conceived as the medium of movement. The principle of
movement, however, is Prana the breath of life, the
all-powerful, all-pervading rhythm of the universe.
Though
One Brahman is the Cause of the Many. Behold
but One in all things it is the second that leads you astray.
(Kabir)
The most important
characteristic of the Eastern world view - one could almost say
the essence of it - is the awareness of the unity and
mutual interrelation of all things and events, the experience
of all phenomena in the world as manifestations of a basic
oneness. All things are seen as interdependent and inseparable
parts of this cosmic whole; as different manifestations of the same ultimate
reality.
In Indian philosophy, the main terms used by Hindus
and Buddhists have dynamic connotations. The word
Brahman is derived from the Sanskrit root brih – to grow - and
thus suggests a reality which is dynamic and
alive. The Upanishads refer to Brahman as ‘this unformed, immortal, moving’,
thus associating it with motion even though it transcends all
forms. The Rig Veda uses another term to express the dynamic character of the
universe, the term Rita. This word comes from the root ri- to
move. In its phenomenal aspect, the cosmic One is thus
intrinsically dynamic, and the apprehension of its dynamic nature is
basic to all schools of Eastern mysticism. They all emphasize
that the universe has to be grasped dynamically, as it moves,
vibrates and dances. (Fritjof Capra,
1972.)

the Many Things.
Eastern Philosophy: Yin-Yang - The Wave Structure of Matter
explains the Balance of Opposites and Harmony
in the Universe.
(Zeno-Stoic 333-262BC)
God is not separate from the world; He is the soul of the
world, and each of us contains a part of the Divine Fire. ... All things are
parts of one single system, which is called Nature.
(Tolstoy, 1879)
'True religion is that relationship, in accordance with
reason and knowledge, which man establishes with the
infinite world around him, and which binds his life to that
infinity and guides his actions. ... From this relationship follows man's
purpose, which lies in increasing his spiritual qualities, and man's purpose
leads to the practical rules of the law: do to others as you would have
them do unto you.'
(Gandhi 1869-1948)
'Truth alone is eternal, everything else is momentary. It is more correct to say
that Truth is God, than to say that God is Truth. ... All life
comes from the one universal source, call it Allah, God or
Parmeshwara.'
Summary: God is the One Infinite Eternal thing which Exists (Space) and Causes the Many things (Matter as Spherical Wave Motions of Space). Religion (from Latin Religare - to bind) is our Connection to the One thing (God, Brahman, Space) as Spherical Standing Waves which determine the Size of our Finite Spherical Universe within an Infinite Space. This then Solves the Problem of Morality 'Do unto Others as you would have done unto Yourself' as Matter (and thus Humans) are the size of the Universe thus the Other is a Part of the Self.
Theology: Albert Einstein: Religion & Science - Discussion
of Religion and Science Quotes / Quotations /
Articles from the Famous Scientist & Philosopher Albert Einstein. 'The
religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. ... Science without religion
is lame, religion without science is blind.'
Theology: Atheist Atheism Agnostic Agnosticism -
Religion is our Connection to What Exists and Causes all Things
(Universe, Physical Reality, God) thus we are all Religious. Religion should
Unite us to One Thing and thus bring Harmony to Humanity. 'A
little philosophy inclineth men's minds to atheism; but depth in philosophy
bringeth men's minds to religion.' (Bacon)

Greek Gods and Myths and their relationship to
Truth and Reality.
Theology: Leo Tolstoy - On the Evolution of True
Religion (our connection to the Universe / God), Reason and Human
Morality.
Theology: Mysticism Mystical Mystic - Wave Structure of Matter
(WSM) explains Metaphysical Foundations of Mysticism -
All is One (Space) and Interconnected by the Spherical Wave
Motions of Matter. 'The most beautiful and most profound
experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of
all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer
wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. ... this knowledge, this
feeling is at the center of true religiousness.' (Albert
Einstein,Merging of Spirit & Science)
Theology: Pantheism Philosophy - Spinoza
realised that God, Nature and Reality are One and the Same thing. All is God,
All is One, All is Space and Motion.
Theology: World Religions - A brief summary of the major
World Religions and their fundamental Morality 'Do Unto
Others ...' The idea of the
individual being linked to the cosmos is
expressed in the Latin root of the word religion, 'religare'
(to bind strongly), as well as the Sanskrit
yoga, which means union.' (Fritjof Capra,
1974)
(Charles Darwin)
Although I am fully convinced of the truth of
the views given in this volume I by no means expect to convince experienced
naturalists whose minds are stocked with a multitude of facts all viewed, during
a long course of years, from a point of view directly opposite to mine. But I
look with confidence to the future to young
and rising naturalists, who will be able to view both sides of the question with
impartiality. ... In scientific investigations, it is permitted to invent any
hypothesis and, if it explains various large and independent classes of facts,
it rises to the rank of a well-grounded theory. ... I have called this
principle, by which each slight variation, if useful, is preserved, by the term
Natural Selection.
Today, then, evolution is a term that is not restricted to biology. Ideas are said to evolve, as well as nations, technologies, indeed anything that changes. When used in a considered way and not merely as a cliche, however, the idea of evolution connotes more than change. It implies a process which, as in biology, is uninterrupted and causal, and which appears to follow an overall trend. (Robin Cooper, The Evolving Mind)
Evolution: Metaphysics - On What is Evolving. The Metaphysics of Space and Motion and the Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) explains the Metaphysical Foundations of Evolution. Space and Motion (Matter existing as the Spherical Wave Motion of Space) must first Exist for Evolution to Exist. i.e. The Earth spins and orbits the Sun causing Animal Evolution of Hibernation, Sleep, etc. which requires both Space and Motion to first exist.
Evolution: Charles Darwin's Theory - Discussion of Quotations
from Charles Darwin on the Theory of Evolution by means of Natural
Selection.
Evolution: Creation Vs. Evolution - Only Evolution abides by
the rules of Science, i.e. Something always existed, Something is never created
from Nothing (creation ex nihilo). Wave Structure of
Matter (in Infinite Eternal Space) describes a Perpetual Infinite
System of Evolution.
Evolution: Culture - Importance of True Knowledge of Reality
(Wave Structure of Matter) for Human Cultural Evolution
(Utopia).

Endangered Species. Humans are Endangered Species while
Ignorant of Truth and Reality.
Evolution: Evolutionary Philosophy - Evolutionary Philosophy

Biological Evolution.
Evolution: Utopia - Utopia as the Evolution
of True Knowledge of Reality (Wave Structure of Matter) into
Human Society.
Evolution: Wave Genetics: Biology - Recent (and very
important) discoveries from Russia confirm that DNA / Genes are
Resonant Structures which are subtly interconnected to their
Environment. i.e. Genetic material can be manipulated by waves with certain
resonant frequencies. This confirms that Genetic Modification (based upon
discrete 'particle' ideas) is dangerous, as it does not understand, nor take
into account, the resonant interconnection of all life and the consequences of
changing genetic sequences and thus their resonant structures.
Summary: Though it may sound radical, it is actually very obvious that good health requires good knowledge of what we are, how we physically exist, how we have evolved to live. It is now clear to me that we Humans are very complexly evolved structures of spherically vibrating space (not discrete and separate particles). I know that this will seem strange to most people at first simply because it is new to you. But this is what it means to be 'Human' and explains how we Exist as Matter in Space, how we are Interconnected not only to the Ecology of Nature on Earth but to all Matter in the Universe (as the True Foundation for Ecology of Life on Earth). This knowledge helps us to correctly understand how we have Evolved to Live with (and Consume) other Life on Earth. This understanding of our interconnection with the universe is necessary for our continuing health and survival.

philosophy) for her many years of work in reading philosophy, collecting quotes,
helping to construct this rather large and ambitious website, and maintaining a
sense of humour in the face of adversity!
To Milo Wolff, my
dear old friend who has taught me so much about physics and life.
And with
appreciation to the great philosophers of the past who devoted their lives in
pursuit of Truth and Wisdom.
